چکیده:
One of the existing contemporary approaches to the explanation of social deviations is Rational Selection. On the basis of a new perspective in this approach، deviating relationship is assumed as a market based on the supply-and-demand principle. According to this new conception، the deviant is a demander، and the victim، who is not inert and takes on an active role in the realization of the deviating activity، plays the role of a supplier. This kind of analysis can be applied to social and moral deviations resulting from wearing improper hijab which requires its own specific controlling policies. If we analyze some religious texts (e.g. verses related to hijab) on the basis of this approach، we will see it approved by the verses، with the codification of hijab as a controlling policy becoming meaningful within this perspective.
خلاصه ماشینی:
A bad-hijabi is not just someone who does not observe the obligatory limit of Sharia hijab; it is possible that someone observes these limits completely, but at the same time, their outward appearance, their type of behavior with men, their way of speaking, their way of walking, even their way of looking at people and their surroundings, and in short, their type of communicative behavior in society, is such that they are "language-bearing" 2 , meaning they attract the attention of non-mahrams through non-verbal language.
Improper Hijab in the Supply and Demand Approach Different explanations of social deviation, in general, and the theory based on the idea of the supply and demand market in particular, are explanatory in nature; this means they are not seeking to identify the primary culprit in deviant and norm-breaking behavior.
According to the supply and demand theory, in order to preserve the norms, privacy, and values prevailing in society and also in search of solutions to reduce or eliminate deviations, in addition to the fact that punishment is directed at the deviant individual, the victim (who in these cases is usually female) is also not safe from this blame and policy, because she too has not been merely passive.
This very matter shows us that in an Islamic society, in accordance with religious teachings and the results of new scientific research, regarding the control of social and moral deviations in relations between men and women, the point of emphasis should be on empowering the potential victims (women) against individuals ready for crime and deviation, and controlling display towards interested individuals, through deliberate and long-term cultural work in the field of promoting the correct meaning of hijab.
