چکیده:
Philosophical, ethical, and political wisdom in Iran after Islam and also in the Islamic world has had a close connection and interaction with Greek wisdom, especially the views of Plato and Aristotle. The greatest and most important commentators of the prominent Greek philosophers, especially Aristotle, were Islamic philosophers such as Al-Farabi and Averroes (Ibn Rushd), to the extent that Aristotle was called the First Teacher and Abu Nasr Al-Farabi was called the Second Teacher. Among the important works and intellectual heritage of Aristotle that has been cited, examined, and criticized by Islamic philosophers is Aristotle's treatise on ethics. The 'Nicomachean Ethics,' which Aristotle wrote addressed to his son, became available to Muslim scholars, especially Iranian Muslim philosophers, after being translated into Arabic. The influence of this ethical treatise on the civil and moral heritage in the Islamic world is clearly evident and prominent. The proximity of Aristotle's ethical teachings in this treatise to the ethical teachings in Islam has led to double attention to the content of the aforementioned treatise by Islamic sages and philosophers and a greater inclination toward its contents. In this writing, traces of this influence are considered and examined.
