چکیده:
One of the ways to conclude a contract is the electronic exchange of data. Numerous legal issues have been raised in this type of contract, known as an electronic contract, which require criticism and examination; however, is the use of internet technology in concluding contracts as safe and reliable as utilizing traditional methods? The fundamental reason for this question is that the technical introduction and the necessity of addressing legal and jurisprudential issues regarding contracts—such as the validity of electronic documents as evidence in litigation, the attribution of expressions of will, issues regarding error, etc.—is to ensure the authenticity of the expression of will and the integrity of the message against the danger of forgery and tampering. From the perspective of experts, the declaration of false identities, forgery of message content, and denial of it are among the most important risks facing electronic contracts. Therefore, it is necessary to make it possible to identify the contracting party, protect the message from the possibility of forgery and tampering, maintain the confidentiality of exchanges, and prevent the denial and rejection of the message by adopting appropriate measures.

Therefore, it is necessary that by adopting appropriate measures, the identification of the contracting party, the protection of the message from the possibility of forgery and alteration, maintaining the confidentiality of exchanges, and preventing the denial and rejection of the message become possible.

When the parties use a symmetric encryption system, since they are the only ones who know the secret key, the exchange of messages will also indicate their authenticity; because no one else besides them has the possibility of accessing this key.
The technical method for ensuring non-repudiation is the use of electronic signatures, third-party intervention as a witness, and time-stamping[1]: in public key cryptography, since each user is the exclusive owner of their key _______________________________ [1] - Time - Stamping is their own, will not be able to deny the sending of a message that has been encrypted with his private key and which in fact contains his electronic signature.
In this method, verifying the integrity of the message is possible by any person who possesses the sender's public key (Figure 3).
