چکیده:
The efficiency of the Islamic Republic of Iran system is one of the topics that, despite its importance, no criteria or indicators have been provided for its evaluation and measurement. Therefore, the main question of the present research is: 'How is the efficiency of the Islamic Republic of Iran system evaluated, and what is the status of this system based on efficiency indicators?' Thus, with a new theoretical approach, efficiency is defined in light of the elements and pillars of political systems, namely idea, structure, agent, and behavior, and then efficiency indicators related to each of these pillars are presented. In the next step, with attention to these indicators, a model for evaluating the efficiency of the Islamic Republic system is presented. The presented model, in addition to representing the common aspects of the Islamic Republic of Iran system with other political systems, also represents the dimensions and specific characteristics of this system. Furthermore, some instances of the efficiency of this system at each of the aforementioned levels are mentioned.

Therefore, the main question of the present research is: "How is the efficiency of the Islamic Republic of Iran system evaluated, and what is the status of this system based on efficiency indicators?"; thus, with a new theoretical approach, efficiency is defined in terms of the elements and pillars of political systems, namely idea, structure, agent, and behavior, and then efficiency indicators related to each of these pillars are presented.
For this reason, in defining the efficiency of political systems, it can be said that a political system is considered efficient when, in addition to efficiency at the ideational level, it possesses efficient structures and competent actors, and can succeed in achieving its goals through the emergence of appropriate and desirable behaviors, in such a way that it brings maximum satisfaction to its citizens and fulfills their expectations to the greatest extent possible, thereby ensuring its own survival and continuity.
Given the importance and role of ideas, they, in addition to providing legitimacy to structures, actors, and behaviors, are effective in problem-solving, deadlock-breaking, capacity-building, and upgrading the position of the political system in the efficiency of political systems.
Therefore, the ability to justify realities, the ability to provide solutions for solving and resolving problems and deadlocks, the ability to respond to competing ideas, and also the ability to respond to newly emerging issues are considered the most important indicators of the efficiency of political systems at the ideational level.
