چکیده:
Among the topics raised regarding Imam Hussain and the event of Ashura is the legitimacy of mourning and weeping for him, as well as the doubts and criticisms raised by Wahhabism against Shiites in this regard. This research, using a documentary and analytical-descriptive method, attempts to examine the naturalness of weeping and mourning in the logic of reason and tradition in an integrated manner and to express the topics related to the subject of weeping for Imam Hussain in more detail. To investigate the naturalness of mourning and also the issue of differences in the types of mourning, especially from the perspective of Sunni scholars, it is first proven that mourning and weeping are consistent with human nature (fitra) or the existential reality of humans, and then the cause of this difference in mourning, despite the uniformity of 'nature,' is explained. Investigations show that according to Sunni narrative sources, mourning in general, and specifically for Imam Hussain, is a legitimate practice. Furthermore, in this writing, using narrations and adhering to the conduct of rational people, various styles of mourning are examined and permissible cases are stated.
