چکیده:
With the help of the intelligent architecture and courage of Imam Sajjad (AS), the memory of the martyrs of Karbala remained alive. This article aims to examine the Imam's strategies for preserving the culture of Ashura. Therefore, the question of this research is: what were the strategies of Imam Sajjad (AS) in keeping alive and promoting the culture of Ashura and the martyrs of the plains of Karbala? This research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and by utilizing library resources. The results of the research show that given the temporal conditions of the Imam and the killing and suppression of the Shiites by the Umayyad caliphs and their agents, Imam Sajjad (AS) utilized political weapons (negative struggle) and cultural means, and succeeded in keeping the culture of Ashura alive and transferring it to future generations.

The results of the research show that, given the Imam's temporal conditions and the killing and suppression of Shiites by the Umayyad caliphs and their agents, Imam Sajjad (as) utilized political warfare (negative struggle) and cultural warfare and succeeded in keeping the culture of Ashura alive and transferring it to future generations.
With these explanations, the question and concern of this research is: what were the political and cultural strategies of Ali ibn al-Husayn, Sayyid al-Sajidin (as), as the only remaining male descendant of the family of Imamate, in keeping alive, promoting, and honoring the culture of Ashura and the memory of Imam Husayn (as) and the martyrs of the plains of Karbala?
'" (Kulayni, 1407: 1/281; Ibn Abi Zaynab, 1397: 53) For this reason, it can be said that the Imam's withdrawal from the society of those days was a completely desirable, wise, and prudent action; because the Umayyad rulers were seeking to destroy the important pillar of religion, namely the progeny of the Prophet (saw), and they had achieved this goal by martyring Imam Husayn (as) and his loyal companions and by taking the women and children of his family into captivity, and now it was the turn of Imam Sajjad (as), the sole survivor of the Ahl al-Bayt (as).
