چکیده:
In the history of thought, philosophy, and religions, 'Aql' has been the subject of many discussions. In the Holy Quran, the word 'Aql' is used extensively and spoken of frequently. Therefore, one of the important questions is: what meaning does 'Aql' hold in the Quranic worldview? What components does the semantic field of Aql include in the Quran, and what relationship exists between Aql and other components? Aql in the Quran, along with its closely related concepts, forms a specific semantic field that represents part of the Quranic worldview. In this worldview, contrary to the approach of most philosophers, Aql does not exist as an independent entity, and this semantic field includes components such as Ayah (verse), reflection, remembrance, understanding (tafaqquh), guidance, faith, etc. A special symbiotic and substitutive relationship exists between these concepts and Aql; most notably, the most important connection is established between Aql and faith. This writing attempts to extract how Aql is applied in the Quran and also its semantic field components in the Quranic worldview based on linguistic principles.

The Semantic Field of the Word "Aql" (Intellect) in the Holy Quran Aflatun Sadeghi 1 Abstract In the history of thought, philosophy, and religions, "Aql" has been the subject of many discussions.
In this worldview, contrary to the approach of most philosophers, Aql does not exist as an independent entity, and this semantic field includes components such as Ayah (sign), Tafakkur (reflection), Tadhakkur (remembrance), Tafaqquh (deep understanding), Hidayah (guidance), Iman (faith), etc.
4- The meaning of intellect in the Quran With respect to the above premises and based on the semantic method, we will discuss the uses of the word "intellect" (aql) in the Holy Quran.
Therefore, the human is one of the most fundamental elements of the semantic field of intellect in the Quran, which is derived from the use of its "verbal" form in this book; meaning, in the sense of this word used in its verbal form in the Quran, it refers to humans who perform such an action, and its concept is not complete without considering this accompaniment.
But in the expression of the Quran, the most important semantic relationship in this regard exists between "ta'aqqul" (reasoning) and "iman" (bringing faith).
By examining the 49 verses in which derivatives of 'aql' (intellect) are used and comparing the verses, we encounter a specific semantic field whose most important co-occurring elements with intellect, in order of importance, are: "human", "ayah" (sign), "reflection", "remembrance", "knowledge and wisdom", "guidance", "faith", "worship", "acceptance", "praise", "gratitude", and "recitation".
