چکیده:
Throughout the world, due to the increasing number of elderly people, mental disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer's have also increased. Out of every 10 patients with Alzheimer's, 7 patients are cared for at home; therefore, the economic, caregiving, and family burden following their care has become a particular focus of countries' health systems. Chronic stress resulting from continuous care of the patient threatens the physical and mental health of caregivers, and spiritual intelligence, as the foundation of an individual's beliefs, plays an essential role in promoting and ensuring the mental health of individuals. In this descriptive-correlational study, 70 caregivers of elderly people with Alzheimer's were examined using continuous sampling and self-efficacy and spiritual intelligence questionnaires. The results showed a significant relationship between the variables of self-efficacy and spiritual intelligence.
