چکیده:
The issue of spirituality has become very important to humanity in today's world. Accordingly, there are numerous and sometimes conflicting spiritual perspectives among philosophical and intellectual schools, one of which is called modern spirituality. From this point of view, based on modern rationality and in line with modernism, a new understanding of religion must be provided to reduce human suffering and achieve absolute peace and satisfaction. On the other hand, this approach holds that religious spirituality is inefficient in providing this purpose. This paper seeks to provide a comprehensive definition of the nature and character of rationality in modern spirituality. The findings show that, arguing rationality is not only in line with modern spirituality but is in conflict with that.
