چکیده:
The purpose of the present study is to review political and social backgrounds behind the formation of "religious state" in the political philosophy of Imam Khomeini. In this regard, the books of Kashf al-Asrār (1941) and Wilāyt-e Faqih (1961) written by Imam Khomeini were studied using a historic-analytic method. The results show that in both books under study, the legitimacy of the religious state has been formed based on Wilāyat-e Faqh. Imam Khomeini in Kashf al-Asrār, relying on the principle of necessity of continuation of the political guardianship of the Prophet (PBUH), follows the identity of religious state through the parliament of founders, whereas in Wilāyt-e Faqih, he explains the principle of Wilāyat-e Faqih and formation of religious state based on leadership of a just and jurist who meets all the expectations. In other words, the political philosophy of Imam Khomeini has changed during two decades from a "constitutional" path to a "revolutionary" approach.
خلاصه ماشینی:
The research findings show that in both works under study, the legitimacy of religious government is formed based on Velayat-e Faqih; with the difference that in the book Kashf al-Asrar, relying on the principle of the necessity of the continuity of the political guardianship of the Prophet(s), Imam Khomeini pursues the identity of religious government through the Assembly of Experts, but in the book Velayat-e Faqih, based on the theory of the separation of the three powers and moving beyond constitutionalism, he explains the principle of Velayat-e Faqih and the formation of religious government based on the leadership of a just and qualified jurist.
\P> The aim of the present research is to examine the concept of 'religious government' and the backgrounds of its formation in the political views of Imam Khomeini, which are explained in his two important books, Kashf al-Asrar (1941) and Velayat-e Faqih (1961).
To escape this crisis, relying on transmitted and rational proofs and having mastery over social and political conditions, Imam Khomeini first proposed the principle of the necessity of the continuity of the political guardianship of the Prophet(s) and then, by presenting the theory of Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist), solved the problem of leading the Islamic community during the period of the Major Occultation.
