چکیده:
This is a critique and review of the interpretation 'Haqaiq al-Tafsir' in terms of its chain of narration, content, and the authenticity or invalidity of its attribution to Imam Sadiq (AS). This interpretation, authored by Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, was first identified by the French researcher Louis Massignon in the first half of the twentieth century. After Massignon, Paul Noyès, a French scholar, corrected and published the book in 1968. Since the publication of this interpretation, no chain of narration has been found; neither did al-Sulami mention a chain for it, nor are the probabilities proposed by French researchers regarding its chain of narration acceptable. Although there are narrations within the text of the interpretation that could be correct from the perspective of structure and style, there are also narrations that indicate the virtues of the Holy Prophet. However, no narration that speaks of the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt and the Imams (AS) exists in the interpretation whatsoever. Furthermore, there are theological narrations consistent with determinism (Jabr), as well as jurisprudential and creedal narrations inconsistent with Shiite thought, but these narrations are few and their fabrication is clearly evident in terms of content and structure. The author believes that while the possibility of this collection of interpretations originating from Imam Sadiq (AS) does not seem far-fetched, at the same time, the traces of forgery and distortion—adding narrations contrary to the Adliyya and Imami schools and removing narrations regarding the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt—are clearly visible. It is probable that these forgeries were carried out by al-Sulami himself.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Compiler of the Interpretation The aforementioned narrations, which were used irregularly and scattered in the circles of mystics by the followers of the Sufi orders, were organized and arranged around the end of the fourth century and the beginning of the fifth century AH by the famous historian and renowned mystic of Nishapur, Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, and were appended to one of his most famous books titled: Haqa'iq al-Tafsir.
Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, who considers many of the interpretations of the Holy Quran—which have even reached through the Companions, the Successors (Tabi'un), and other commentators after the Successors, and in which attention is only paid to clarifying and removing ambiguity from the verses of the Quran from the perspective of the outward (zahir) and verbal aspects—to be superficial and outward, viewed the interpretation attributed to Imam al-Sadiq (AS) and the interpretation of Abu al-Abbas Ibn Ata, a man from Balkh, viewed it with respect and honor, seeking his purpose and goal in the mystical interpretation of the Quran and the clarification of its inner meanings and spiritual dimensions.
)1 Identification of the Interpretation by Louis Massignon It must be solemnly stated that the book Haqa'iq al-Tafsir, to which the mystical interpretation of Imam al-Sadiq (AS) is also appended, after being organized and written by the pen of Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, remained in the form of manuscripts until the second half of the twentieth century AD.
