"According to this research, among the features noted in the tafsir of "Majma’ al-Bayan" are comprehensiveness, topical organization, modesty in utilization of traditions, fair-mindedness in narration, criticism of opinions and views, as well as attention to occasion of revelation. Some of the topics reviewed here are as follows: The historical background of the issue; the Shi’ite theologians’ outlooks about cancellation; transmitted and rational reasons for cancellation; backgrounds for the cancellation of actions from the viewpoint of the Qur’an; analysis of the cancellation theory; the reality of faith and infidelity; and the criteria for evaluating actions. Contemplation on Dhahabi’s Criticism of "Majma’ al-Bayan" Muhammad Hasan Madadi Musawi Muhammad Husayn Dhahabi, the Egyptian Qur’an researcher, has brought up some doubts about the Shi’ite interpretations in his "Al-Tafsir wal-Mufassirun", followed by some criticism on Tabrisi. The writer has first presented a definition of the topic and then dealt with the outcome of the theory of "Integrity of Purpose" in various aspects of understanding and defense of the Qur’an and points out eight outcomes in this relation as follows: 1. 3. Allama Tabrisi’s Especial Viewpoints Muhammad Hasan Rabbani The author in this article, first introduces Tabrisi and his tafsirs and makes a comparison between "Majma’ al-Bayan" and his contemporary tafsirs such as "Al-Tibyan" of Shaykh Tusi and "Rawz al-Janan" of Abu al-Futuh Razi and proceeds to points out Shaykh Tusi’s special viewpoints on science of usul, fiqh, lugha, and kalam. The Topical section in this issue is dedicated to articles on Shaykh Tabrisi, the renowned interpreter of the sixth century and the writer of the two well-known tafsirs, "Majma’ al-Bayan" and "Jawami’ al-Jami’"."
