چکیده:
Social education is a management and preparation for the realization of the ideals and goals of every social school and creed, and it provides the ground for implementing its practical commands; therefore, attention to the requirements, foundations, and necessities of social education becomes essential. Relying on and emphasizing the teachings of the Holy Quran, this writing attempts to examine the position of ethics in social education and shed light on its dark corners. With a monotheistic view of man, his talents, and his existential needs, the Holy Quran presents realistic methods and ways appropriate to authentic human needs so that humans, by acting upon those commands, can form a healthy and organized society, and thereby provide the ground for the realization of virtues. From the perspective of the Holy Quran, monotheism is the axis of all matters, and every other principle must be established with this foundation in mind. With an accurate understanding of the psychological states of man and full supervision of his abilities and weaknesses, the Holy Quran has its own specific method in calling for social education. While not neglecting intellectual foundations, it strives in the field of action through various ways to capture the center of emotions—the human heart—so that man may step on the path of perfection with contentment and with soul and heart. The Holy Quran considers the growth and blossoming of human talents to be directed towards achieving perfection and reaching proximity to God, and it gives more importance to the existential becoming and the elevation of the soul of perfection-seeking humans than anything else. Methods such as storytelling and presenting exemplary lessons are all intended to awaken the human soul, so that man, considering the lofty position of divine vicegerency, becomes aware of his distinction as a human being and constantly strives and endeavors to remain human.

The Holy Quran expresses all its teachings around the axis of "Tawhid" and describes the motivation for moral education as the love of the Beloved and attaining closeness and proximity to Him. Allameh Tabataba'i identifies the most important method of the Quran as "hubb al-ubudiyyah" or the love that stems from an individual's servitude; he believes that someone who does not consider themselves a servant of God can never achieve correct and complete moral education.
Islam accepts both methods within their specific framework, because God explains the stories of the prophets, and uses their acts of worship, prayers, and ways of interacting with people as examples; in fact, it is a type of practical education through the mention of details.
