City branding, as a strategic tool for enhancing the identity and position of cities in national and international arenas, plays an important role in tourism development. Municipal public relations, acting as a link between urban management and various audiences, especially tourists, is influential in shaping and strengthening the city brand. This article examines the role of Bandar Abbas Municipality's public relations in attracting tourists through city branding using a theoretical and scientific approach. First, the key concepts of public relations, city branding, and tourist attraction are explained, then the importance of city branding in tourism development is investigated. Subsequently, the role of public relations in the city branding process is analyzed, and solutions for improving the performance of Bandar Abbas Municipality's public relations are provided.
