چکیده:
The primary issue of the present study, which has been conducted in a descriptive-analytical manner, is the examination of Twelver Sunni thoughts in the "Zafarnama" of Hamdallah Mustawfi, the poet and historian of the Mongol era. The research question is: what are the most significant Twelver Sunni thoughts in Mustawfi's "Zafarnama" and what are the reasons for them? The hypothesis is that, given the prevalence of Twelver Sunnism influenced by Sufism from the sixth century up to the Safavid era, which laid the groundwork for the formalization of Shi'ism during the Safavid period, the Mongol era also saw the spread of such thoughts. From the perspective of the sociology of literature, the literary works of each period (including the "Zafarnama," a work from the Mongol era) reflect the political and social thoughts and approaches of that time. The outcome of the research indicates the presence of numerous instances of reverence and acknowledgment of the legitimacy of Imam Ali (AS), his superior position relative to other companions in the eyes of the Prophet (PBUH) and God, the necessity of following him to attain the truth, the veneration of Lady Fatimah (SA) and the Imams, and the acceptance of the occultation of Imam Mahdi (AJ).
