چکیده:
Every civilization, in its path of formation and continuity, may encounter damages and challenges that divert it from its direct course. In this regard, cultural and soft damages play a special role in the decline and destruction of a civilization. This article aims to adopt a descriptive-analytical method to extract the damaging cultural components of a society in fitna and the effects of fitna from the perspective of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) in Nahj al-Balagha, in an effort to recognize these damages and avoid them. Investigations show that based on the teachings of Nahj al-Balagha, components such as cultural invasion, the deviation of the elite, fitna, power-seeking, and negligence are damaging factors that threaten the health of the Islamic society. In Letter 53 of Nahj al-Balagha, which is the covenant of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) to Malik al-Ashtar, the presence of these components, including 'the most obvious flaws of the people,' regret for the past, joy over the punishment of past rulers, and breaking promises, has also been emphasized.

External contexts and factors The backgrounds and tools in which the footprint of foreign and Western countries is seen in some way are external contexts, including: A) Efforts to secularize through various means: Imam Ali (peace be upon him) used to warn about the ominous outcome of religious avoidance, saying: «مردم برای اصلاح دنیا چیزی از دین را ترک نمیگویند، جز آن که خدا آنان را به چیزی زیان بارتر دچار خواهد ساخت».
Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) has many enlightening words regarding eclecticism, the mixing of truth and falsehood, the exploitation of truth by falsehood, the endangerment of the cultural and intellectual security of society, and also the damages that have been inflicted on truth-seekers through this method; here we mention one example: If falsehood were not mixed and blended with truth, truth would not be hidden from truth-seekers and seekers of reality; and if truth were freed from the cover of falsehood, the tongues of adversaries and ill-wishers would be cut off from speaking ill; but when a part of truth and a part of falsehood are taken and mixed together, in such conditions, Satan gains mastery over his friends, and those whom the grace of God has encompassed are saved from such doubtful and misleading conditions.
According to the precious words of the Master of the Pious (peace be upon him), the primary factors in creating sedition (fitna) are following carnal desires, such as the pursuit of power and worldly love, as well as innovation (bid'ah) in the religion of God. Seditionists, by presenting falsehood under the guise of truth, deceive public opinion and create instability in distinguishing truth from falsehood.
