Investigation of Verbal and Behavioral Skills in the Story of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) in the Quran 1 Marzieh Molayi Fard Abstract The life stories of prophets and learning from the skills present within them is one of the very important topics raised in the Quran, which holds a special position in various human and educational sciences.
The present research, with a historical-analytical approach, investigates verbal and behavioral skills in the story of Prophet Moses in the Quran.
Given that Almighty God, in many verses of the Quran, calls humans to remember the stories of past prophets and their nations, especially Prophet Moses (peace be upon him), this research intends to identify some of the skills employed in this story.
In this verse, God speaks to Moses (peace be upon him) and mentions how He immersed him in His love during childhood and watched over him moment by moment so that the Pharaohs would not destroy him, but rather become infatuated with him, making him aware of the grace and affection bestowed upon him; even the mention of what occurred is expressed in a language of kindness and intimacy; because the speech is expressed with the first-person pronoun "القيت" (I cast), which conveys ultimate closeness and sincerity.
God commands Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) and his brother Aaron to go to (the powerful and oppressive king) Pharaoh and invite him to the truth with gentle expression and speech, far from harshness and violence.
