چکیده:
Teaching students in a way that strengthens their problem-solving skills is a challenging task. Students must learn how to look at problem-solving from a holistic perspective. A problem is not only something that does not work correctly or a task that teachers assign to their students, but it is also something that any change makes different or improves. A problem could be finding better ways to manage a service-providing company. To compensate for educational weaknesses and deficiencies, creative problem-solving skills must be utilized. Our school systems, from first grade to university, all focus on storing information instead of using the amazing power of the brain to create new thoughts and turn them into reality; they have always taught us dictated techniques or methods of problem-solving, which has also been referred to as a (slow and laborious) method. For this reason, in this article, we intend to investigate the causes and factors for improving students' problem-solving skills. The research method is analytical-descriptive, and the data collection tool is note-taking.

Our school systems, from first grade to university, all focus on storing information instead of using the amazing power of the brain to create new thoughts and turn them into reality; they have always taught us dictated techniques or methods of problem-solving, which has also been referred to as a (slow and laborious) method.
The main factor in problem-solving is the application of the individual's previous experience to reach a solution and an answer that was previously unknown to the human being is; at least in the specific situation in which the person is placed, past experience, knowledge, and skill are considered prerequisites for problem-solving (Safavi, 1394).
Therefore, the essential element of problem-solving is the application of previously learned knowledge and skills in new situations (Seif, 1393).
Problem-solving is the act of decision-making, which includes recognizing and identifying a situation in which decision-making, information gathering, examination, analysis, and evaluation of the existing situation are performed, the consequences of behavior in that situation are assessed, and feedback is obtained from the social environment by the individual (Arozkan, 2013), and as a result, the person takes a more appropriate decision by substituting decisions that can bring more positive and effective results for their life (Glatt, 1989; Marco, Hartong, Newman, and Parr, 2003; Sardogan, Karahan, and Kaygusuz, 2006).

Because the goal of education is to lead the individual toward a logical and clear attitude for solving life's problems and issues and organizing recent experiences, and consequently achieving success in the future.
