One of the secrets to the success of a literary work is the author's awareness of the art of rhetoric. The science of Ma'ani provides a solid foundation that has sustained the art of eloquence. The optimal and attractive use of the principles and branches of rhetoric is what steers the vessel of speech into the heart of the audience and influences them. Juvayni is one of the capable writers of the seventh century who possessed great mental power and an eloquent language. The secret to the captivating nature of Juvayni's Tarikh-i Jahangusha and his prose lies in his style of speech and discourse, which demonstrates his familiarity with the secrets of calligraphy and audience recognition. Using secondary meanings of sentences to express sorrow, despair, or the mention or omission of the predicate with a relative pronoun for glorification and exaltation, as well as prolixity (itnab), are among the frequently used concepts of Juvayni that have paved the way for expressing his feelings and emotions. He has well grasped the secret of effective speech in Tarikh-i Jahangusha and has utilized it skillfully. In the present research, evidence from Juvayni's prose has been found for almost every entry of the science of Ma'ani, which itself indicates the extensive impact of this art on the writing power of the author.
