چکیده:
The continuation of the epic poetry of the fifth century AH, one of the valuable epic works presented to the field of Persian literature, is Asadi's Garshasb-nameh, which is recognized as the most successful follower and composer of the Shahnameh. This poem has great importance in terms of linguistic and literary structure and, as one of the prominent works of the Khorasani style, is full of the characteristics of this Persian poetic style. This research, conducted as a library-based study, examines the linguistic and literary structure of Asadi Tusi's Garshasb-nameh. The most important linguistic and stylistic features of Garshasb-nameh include: the use of 'aba, abr, abi' instead of 'ba, bar, bi', using 'kaja' to mean 'ke' (that), the use of 'aydun' to mean 'such' and 'aydar' to mean 'here', omission of pronouns by context, amala or mamal (vowel shifts), the use of various types of 'y' with verbs, making verbs transitive with the alif of transitivity, and using personal pronouns instead of common pronouns. The use of common rare vocabulary is another stylistic feature of Asadi Tusi's Garshasb-nameh. The use of these words indicates his extensive knowledge of vocabulary. Some of these words became obsolete and were lost in later periods.
