Janali Khavand is one of the poets of the Halil region and was born in Rudbar-e Jonub. He is a poet who possesses great skill in composing ghazals and has utilized classical poetic forms to express his thoughts. Instead of new forms, Khavand has chosen a new language and fresh themes for the content of his poems, and the language of his poetry is fluent and pleasant. With all the capacities of poetry and his own abilities, he addresses the expression of human thoughts, concerns, and problems. The research method in this study is based on library tools, and the findings are presented in an analytical and descriptive manner. This research attempts, by introducing Janali Khavand and analyzing and examining the content of two of his published works, to take a step, however short, in the field of elevating awareness and familiarizing enthusiasts and lovers of poetry and poets. The result obtained indicates that most of the themes in Khavand's poetry are of the lyrical literature type. The lyrical themes of Khavand's poems have the possibility, alongside the artistic pleasure derived from them, to be constantly reconsidered and contemplated so that through this, deep thinking and reflection on the structure, inner content, and other inherent artistic abilities can lead to spiritual benefits.

Among Khavand's poems, request and petition in its technical sense does not exist; however, within the story of Hani and Shamirud, there are verses and couplets composed from the language of the story's characters that present requests.
