چکیده:
Civilization can be considered a social order that, as a result of its existence, makes cultural creativity possible and flowing. The Arbaeen movement, as the largest gathering in the Shia world, contains numerous opportunities for demonstrating modern Islamic civilization and practicing how to achieve this noble goal, which is worthy of analysis. Additionally, different challenges may prevent the Arbaeen movement from achieving its ultimate goal. This research aims to provide a civilizational analysis of the existing opportunities and challenges in the Arbaeen movement using a descriptive-analytical method and utilizing library resources. Opportunities such as the powerful media of modern Islamic civilization, pioneering productive and offensive culture, humanity's need for a universal culture, preparing the ground for Mahdaviat thought as the crystallization point of modern Islamic civilization, and cadre building for the era of the appearance of Hazrat Hujjat ibn al-Hasan (aj) have been identified and analyzed in this regard. Neglect of deep truths, superstition, individualism, ritualism, emphasis on mere displays of affection, weakness in enemy recognition, the fading of a global perspective, undermining the authority of local servants, moving away from simple living, and the loss of the title of pilgrim and Imam are challenges that may affect the civilizational movement of Arbaeen.
