خلاصه ماشینی:
The importance of this subject was so great that it occupied the Islamic world for centuries; how it was possible that Ali ibn Abi Talib, the first Imam of the Shiites, the last of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and the father of Hasan, stood very firm and steadfast against Muawiyah, yet his son submitted to peace, or even more strangely, that his brother, Husayn ibn Ali, embraced Jihad after the martyrdom of his brother.
ـ The Peace of Imam Hasan in the Scale of Islamic Civilization - Security and Social Cohesion, Alireza Vasei, Information on Islamic History Source, Spring 99, No. 42 It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned works lack a precise, impartial historical view and investigation, and have mostly addressed the events of the era of Hasan ibn Ali (AS) with a biased perspective.
The Mu'tazilites expressed various views regarding the peace of Hasan ibn Ali. Based on their doctrinal foundations, they did not consider Muawiyah worthy of the caliphate and believed that Hasan remained in his position of Imamate.
In fact, Hasan ibn Ali's action must be examined from the dimension of Imamology to reach the understanding that he was not commanded to engage in jihad, and for the same reasons mentioned, peace had to take shape so that during this period, while Hasan had withdrawn from the caliphate and not the Imamate, people could recognize the true nature of the Umayyads and know how harmful and dangerous they were to the Islamic world.
