چکیده:
Prior to the discovery of the Tamar and Leviathan gas fields between 2009 and 2013 in the deep waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the occupying regime was significantly dependent on energy imports. Although dependence on oil imports continues, the increase in natural gas production in this regime has significantly increased its maneuvering power in the energy arena by providing the necessary fuel for industries and power plants and creating gas export capacity. Energy diplomacy, centered on the export of this regime's gas, while ensuring energy security, is also an effort to tie the interests of other countries, especially its neighboring countries, to the interests of the occupying regime so that it shares the risk of threatening the existence of the occupying regime among its partners. This regime's effort to emerge from political isolation through the development of activities and diplomacy based on energy relations with the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Caspian region will lead to a reduction in the security of the Islamic Republic's gas exports, especially after 2025, coinciding with the end of our country's gas export contract to Turkey, as well as a reduction in the expansion of the Islamic Republic's influence and impact in the aforementioned regions. In this regard, deepening energy-based relations with neighboring countries in order to reduce the influence of the occupying regime in the countries of the region, and also reviving and increasing the effective use of energy swap capacity, especially from the Caspian region, can be placed on the agenda.

Although dependence on oil imports continues, the increase in natural gas production in this regime has significantly increased its maneuvering power in the energy arena by supplying the fuel required for industries and power plants and creating gas export capacity.
This regime's attempt to exit political isolation by expanding activities and diplomacy based on energy relations with the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region and the Caspian region will lead to a reduction in the security of the Islamic Republic's gas exports - especially after 2025, coinciding with the end of our country's gas export contract to Turkey - and also a reduction in the expansion of the Islamic Republic's influence and impact in the aforementioned regions.
In this regard, deepening energy-based relations with neighboring countries to reduce the influence of the occupying regime in regional countries, as well as reviving and increasing the effective use of energy swap capacity, especially from the Caspian region, can be placed on the agenda.
Most of the coal consumption in the occupying regime is related to power plants, which is predicted to decrease in the coming years as natural gas replaces coal as the main fuel for power plants, thereby reducing the share of coal in the primary energy supply basket.
Therefore, considering the political instability in Egypt, which has caused the Zionist regime to somewhat lose its largest energy supply source or face uncertainty regarding long-term investment opportunities there, Qatar will attempt, in designing its economic capacities, to showcase itself more in the region by exporting gas to Tel Aviv.
