Stressors are threatening physiological and psychological factors that cause physical and psychological weakness. This research is concerned with the extent of which job fatigue can be caused by prolonged exposure to stressors in the work environment. The general aim of this article is the investigation of the effects of stress on the health of the workers in their workplace. The method of research is based on literature review and findings of several researches by different writers in the field of stress. The writers’ aims are to investigate the main factors related to the display of burnout in the workplace. The results showed, in addition to stress factors, the role of lack of control and prediction of events, in creating burnout is of great importance in the workplace.

The results of the research showed that in addition to the causes and factors of stress, the important role of lack of skill and correct prediction of work events is effective in creating burnout.
Therefore, the feeling of control over events by the worker through involving workers in organizational decision-making and applying their viewpoints in work planning, and the correct prediction of events in the work environment, are important factors that can have a positive effect on other stressors, such as negative interactions and feelings of pessimism towards decisions, and consequently, the level of tension and burnout of workers.
Recent research results show that there is a negative correlation between the process of socialization with the work environment and the level of occupational stress imposed on the worker.
Work motivation and influencing factors such as the emotions or feelings of employed individuals, personality type, abilities, interests, job satisfaction, and also the balance between work and life, the occurrence of discriminatory behaviors, unsafe environments, and management styles, can influence the shaping of occupational behaviors.
Type one strategies attempt to eliminate stressors from the work environment before they take shape and subsequently improve the workers' job satisfaction and their level of physical and mental health.
The role of individual and personality differences in the stress process The type of worker's perception of their own ability and the characteristics of the work environment is of great importance.
