The aim of the present research was to investigate the relationship between the age of marriage and social abnormalities among the youth of Khorramabad city. In terms of purpose, the research method was applied, and in terms of data collection, it was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all youth aged 25 to 30 in Khorramabad city. Using the convenience sampling method, 199 individuals were selected and considered as the research sample. In the present study, a researcher-made questionnaire was utilized; this questionnaire consists of 26 questions. Furthermore, in terms of reflecting real responses, mentioning first and last names in the questionnaire was not mandatory. For data analysis, mean and standard deviation were used at the descriptive level, and parametric tests and the t-test were used at the inferential level. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the increase in the age of marriage and social abnormality indices (illicit satisfaction, illicit relationships, debauchery, improper clothing and bad hijab, and violent sexual crimes) (p < 0.01).

Statistics recorded in the sections related to moral security of the Khorramabad County Police Command in recent years indicate the prevalence and increase of moral problems and crimes such as illicit relations, lewdness, harassment, improper dressing, illegitimate pregnancy and suicide, running away from home, and other moral deviations among the residents, especially the youth of Khorramabad, and has been presented as a threat against the moral security of the citizens of this region.
Research Method The present research, in terms of purpose, is applied, and in terms of data collection, since the investigation of the relationship between the age of marriage and the intended social abnormalities is sought, it is of the descriptive-correlational type.
Research Hypothesis: There is a significant relationship between the increase in marriage age and social abnormalities (social deviations, expansion of prostitution, and running away from home).
Therefore, with 95 percent confidence, it can be said that hypothesis H1 is accepted and hypothesis H0 is rejected, meaning that respondents largely believe there is a significant relationship between the increase in marriage age and social abnormality indices (social deviations, expansion of prostitution, and running away from home).
The results showed that there is a significant relationship between marriage age and social abnormality indices, namely social deviations, expansion of prostitution, and running away from home.
