خلاصه ماشینی:
This research, utilizing structural realism theory, examines the reasons for the expansion of political relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Libya, as well as the causes of instability and divergence in the relations between the two countries.
In this regard, by analyzing events in the period after the Islamic Revolution, we find that the expansion of political relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Libya was a result of international and regional developments that led to greater convergence between the two countries.
Factors affecting the convergence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Libya 1) Anti-imperialist perspectives 37 The most important factor in the expansion of political relations between Iran and Libya after the revolution is the anti-imperialist perspectives of the two countries and the struggle against the hegemony of the United States over the international system (Yousefnejad, 1381: 83).
(Zarei, 1388) In general, these factors are very influential in the convergence of the two countries; however, despite Libya's potential and capacity to expand relations with Iran, the trust of its officials in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the importance of establishing political relations, and the Iranian side's desire to gain more benefits from economic relations with Libya, the expansion of relations between the two countries after the Iranian Revolution has been under the influence of the conditions of the international system and the region.
