چکیده:
One of the duties of attorneys-at-law is to maintain the dignity and status of the legal profession, as they are obligated, by virtue of their professional requirements and special position, to observe limitations such as exercising respect in speech, writing, and behavior, and showing courtesy toward the judicial system. Therefore, they should not merely rely on representing a client to deviate from the special dignity of the legal profession by exhibiting any form of misconduct or impropriety (behavior, speech, or writing) within the judiciary, or engage in slander, disrespect, and contempt toward others in pursuit of their 'professional duty'; even in the position of an attorney-at-law, despite enjoying immunity from criminal prosecution in this role and benefiting from a type of freedom of expression, they are still obligated to observe respect and decorum. Although violating this obligation may not fall under criminal law sanctions and the definition of disciplinary sanctions seems to be a different process, it must undoubtedly be enforceable within the judiciary through the court's powers to combat violations and wrongdoing, as accepted in some systems. Undoubtedly, this is a mutual respect and a guarantor of respect from the judiciary, other attorneys, and litigants.
