چکیده:
Kalam is a science that discusses Islamic principles and beliefs and uses various methods of reasoning to dispel the suspicions of opponents. Hadith also means a word that indicates the words, deeds, and narrations of the infallible. This study deals with the analysis of the function of hadith in Kalam and it was concluded that in the first period of Islamic Kalam, Mutakallim wanted to express Islamic beliefs by mentioning verses and hadiths, and even in the period of rational Kalam, hadith was completely abandoned. It was not, but today one of the main problems in Kalam is its distance from the narrated kalam, while the hadith still has a prominent place in explaining Kalam issues, especially in some of its new issues.

A group of Shia Usulis, including Sheikh Mufid, Sayyid Murtada, Ibn Idris, Qadi Ibn Barraj, and Tabarsi, based on their own foundation, consider solitary reports to be lacking in authority and validity, whether in jurisprudential fields or in the fields of Kalam, exegesis, etc.
3: 75; Ma'arij al-Usul: 189), but they hold differing views in the realm of thought and Kalam: *Muhaqqiq Na'ini, Allamah Tabataba'i, and a group of other Shia scholars consider any form of conjecture, including khabar al-wahid (solitary report), to be lacking in validity in theological discussions and Kalam issues.
Based on this, many of the sayings of great figures such as Allamah Tabataba'i, which I have quoted, become meaningful, because the late Allamah believed that in the realm of thought and Kalam, we need certainty and knowledge, and whatever is presented as a solitary report as a theological source is valid if it reaches this level.
2. Regarding the validation of Hadith and whether a single report (khabar wahid) is authoritative in the field of theology and thought or not, it was stated that although the primary origin of this discussion is the science of Kalam, it was also raised in the science of Usul, and its authority was generally considered valid.
