چکیده:
Hajj has enjoyed special importance among Muslims from ancient times until now; every year, hundreds of thousands of eager Muslims travel from all corners of the world toward the holy lands of Mecca and Medina, overcoming all hardships and difficulties to reach the Miqat and prepare to perform the duty of Hajj while chanting 'Labbayk'. The duty of Hajj is one of the religious-political obligations of Muslims and also a great spiritual gathering that is held every year at its appointed time with its special rituals. This great duty, given the current temporal and spatial conditions, has encountered emerging issues that require investigation, and it seems that a jurisprudential examination of the various types of Hajj can be an effective step toward creating unity among Islamic schools of thought. There are differences observed from a jurisprudential perspective between the types of Hajj (Tamattu, Qiran, Ifrad) and the acts, religious worships, and rituals of Hajj and Umrah between the school of Ahl al-Bayt and followers of other Islamic schools; ranging from wudu, prayer times, Adhan, Iqamah, and the conditions of prayer to Ihram, Tawaf, and other acts and rituals. Although the main framework of rituals and worship is the same among all Islamic schools, these minor differences in performing acts of worship are questioning for any newcomer. Regarding this religious-political act, various interpretations have been made by expert scholars, such that we see these kinds of interpretations in fewer instances of other acts of worship.
