چکیده:
The mother's feelings of parenting ability titled "maternal self-efficacy" that affects maternal actions. This research the role of self-care dimensions in parenting self-efficacy in women referring to Ahvaz health centers381 women referring to 4 health centers of Ahvaz city in the year 2016 were selected by stage random sampling method and completed the Mindful Self-Care Scale and the Parenting Sense of Competence Scale. Gathered data were analyzed by using SPSS-21 software. The results of this study showed that self-care dimensions accounted for 40% of maternal self-efficacy variable variance. The most important predictors of maternal self-efficacy included environmental self-care, medicine and mindfulness. These findings make it clear that, despite the experience and parenting education, physical health and mental relaxation have an impact on a mother ability to perform her duties, and have a significant share.

The results of the study by Motouri, Kidd, Khan, Cutleman, Zeiss, Lindshield, and Adhikari 4 (2016) show that ethnic-specific nutrition education, which affects health-related attitudes and social friends supporting a healthy food environment, leads to the promotion of self-efficacy and healthy dietary behaviors among adolescents.
The effect of self-care education on the self-efficacy of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease attending the educational-therapeutic centers of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences was investigated and published in the Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Hamadan, 23 (2), 74-86.
From this perspective, the present research investigates the relationship between self-care and self-efficacy to show that self-care from the pregnancy period not only does not prevent the correct performance of maternal responsibilities, but also has a positive effect on improving the quality level of mothers' parenting.
The present research showed that medical care and mindfulness are also effective in increasing maternal self-efficacy.
