Twitter as a microblog is one of the most pervasive social media platforms today. This article seeks to answer two basic questions: "How much has Twitter helped to build the power and users activism?" And second, "What are the political, economic, and communication boundaries of Twitter in the public sphere?" Based on this, Twitter's position in influencing political power has been examined first, followed by the situation of Twitter storms in Iran and the analysis of important trends and events that have taken place on Twitter in 2018. The second part of this article is devoted to re-reading Jurgen Habermas's views on the public sphere and its relation to Twitter's critical analysis, in light of the general opinion of Shirky and Zizi Papacharissi. The power of political economy, the accumulation of capital, the role of hashtags, the stock market, the pseudo-public sphere and the public sphere built on Twitter are also the final topics of this article.
