چکیده:
In recent years and decades, the increasing growth of cities and the increase in urban population has increased the demand for public transportation. If this increase is not commensurate with the allocation of services and facilities, there will be significant problems for the city and its citizens. Therefore, there is always a Necessity to conduct up-to-date studies and research to evaluate the efficiency and utility of public transport system service in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the system and to consider it in future planning. Therefore, in the present study, using descriptive-analytical method and capabilities of Geographic Information System, Spatial Statistics, GeoDa software, AHP model and WLC model to evaluate public transport system status in Ardabil city in terms of serviceability (efficiency) and measuring the spatial relationship of the density of bus stations and routes and the distance from these elements to the efficiency of public transport in this city. Field and library methods were used to collect the required research information. The results of the present study confirm the existence of a cluster pattern in the spatial distribution of Ardabil bus stations. This pattern has led to inequality in the utility of services in different locations of Ardabil city so that the efficiency of Ardebil public transport system in the central core, northern part, parts of eastern and southwest part of the city is more than any other neighborhood.
