چکیده:
The present research was conducted with the aim of presenting a model of factors affecting academic entrepreneurship in universities of Mazandaran province. This applied study was of the exploratory type. The research population consisted of academic experts in the field of entrepreneurship in Islamic Azad Universities of Mazandaran province in 1396, from whom 13 individuals were selected using the purposive sampling method. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data, and the collected data were analyzed using the exploratory factor analysis method. The findings showed that three factors—organizational, environmental, and individual—explain academic entrepreneurship. The organizational factor has six categories: institutionalizing the culture of entrepreneurship, infrastructure and processes, establishing marketing centers, entrepreneurial transformation in the university, promoting academic education, and managerial changes; the environmental factor has five categories: external pressures, business laws, industry-university connection, information dissemination and awareness, and entrepreneurial culture in society; and the individual factor has three categories: individual characteristics of students, nurturing entrepreneurial characteristics, and access to resources. Additionally, the three factors—organizational, environmental, and individual—had factor loadings of 0.79, 0.65, and 0.73 respectively, and together they were able to explain 74.12 percent of the total variance of academic entrepreneurship.
