چکیده:
The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between social intelligence and social capital with media literacy among female high school students (second period). The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the research consisted of all 5,263 female high school students (second period) in the city of Pakdasht. The sample size was estimated to be 358 according to Cochran's formula. For data collection, three questionnaires were used: a) Tromsø Social Intelligence Questionnaire (2001), b) Nahapit and Goshal Social Capital Questionnaire (1998), and c) Nasiri Media Literacy Questionnaire (1391). The collected data were analyzed using Pearson correlation, regression, and one-sample t-test. The results of the research showed that there is a positive relationship between social intelligence and each of the components of media literacy in female high schools in the city of Pakdasht. There is a positive relationship between social capital and each of the components of media literacy in female high schools in the city of Pakdasht. The media literacy of female students can be predicted from their social capital and social intelligence.
