چکیده:
The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of conflict management styles in predicting teacher morale. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The population of this research consisted of primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary school teachers in Chaypareh County in the academic year 2014-2015 in West Azerbaijan province, from which 201 teachers (117 men and 84 women) were selected using stratified sampling and completed the Conflict Management Styles Questionnaire (OCCI) (Putnam, 1991) and the Asgharinya Morale Assessment Questionnaire (1382/2003). The obtained data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient tests and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS software. The results showed that the rationality component related to the morale variable has a significant positive relationship with the compromise, accommodation, and collaboration components related to conflict management styles, and a significant negative relationship with the competition component. Additionally, the similarity and belonging components related to morale have a significant positive relationship with the compromise, accommodation, and collaboration components related to conflict management styles. There is no relationship between the avoidance components and any of the teacher morale components. Furthermore, the correlation between the teacher morale variable and conflict management in managers was 0.45, which was significant at the 0.001 level. Multiple regression results also showed that based on the collaboration, compromise, and competition components, teachers' work morale can be predicted linearly. Therefore, paying attention to effective interpersonal conflict management styles improves teacher morale.

The population of this research consisted of primary school, and first and second cycle secondary school teachers in Chaypareh County during the 2014-2015 academic year in West Azerbaijan province, from which 201 teachers (117 men and 84 women) were selected using stratified sampling, and they completed the Organizational Conflict Management Styles (OCCI) questionnaire (Putnam, 1991) and the Morale Assessment Questionnaire by Asghari Nia (2003).
The results showed that the rationality component related to the morale variable has a significant positive relationship with the compromise, accommodation, and collaboration components related to conflict management styles, and a significant negative relationship with the competition component.
Additionally, the similarity and belonging components related to morale have a significant positive relationship with the compromise, accommodation, and collaboration components of conflict management styles.
Various researchers have found significant relationships between morale and various variables such as: organizational climate (Narimani & Arjmand, 2007) organizational climate and organizational commitment (Jahromi, Ahmadi & Darvishpour Faragheh, 2009; Hashemi, Darvishpour Faragheh & Hemmati, 2010), leadership styles (Shirzad Kebria & Shabani Zanganeh, 2011; Dickinson & Adler 2007, 3); participatory management (Abili et al.
Rodriguez and Small 1 (2006) showed in their research that there is a relationship between conflict management styles and the job satisfaction, burnout, and morale of nurses.
Another finding of the research showed that teachers' morale can be predicted based on the components of collaboration, compromise, and competition related to conflict management.
