چکیده:
The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the causal pattern of the relationship between professional ethics, organizational health, and quality of work life in the higher education system. The research method is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population includes all employees of Urmia University (excluding security and service staff), totaling 490 people, from which 190 people were selected using stratified random sampling and responded to the professional ethics questionnaires by Rahimi and Aghababayi, organizational health questionnaires by Hoy and Feldman, and quality of work life questionnaires by Walton. To determine the validity of the questionnaires, confirmatory factor analysis was used, and their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha, which were 0.93, 0.87, and 0.88, respectively. The results obtained from running the path analysis models of the software indicate the goodness of fit of the structural equation model. The results of the hypothesis testing using structural equation modeling showed that the direct effect of professional ethics on the quality of work life (0.30) is positive and significant; the direct effect of organizational health on the quality of work life (0.21) is positive and significant. The direct effect of professional ethics on organizational health (0.24) is positive and significant. The indirect effect of professional ethics on the quality of work life through the mediation of organizational health (0.14) is positive and significant, and the total effect of professional ethics on social capital (0.44) is positive and significant.

Observing such behaviors and actions prompted the researcher to study the role of professional ethics and organizational health on the level of quality of life of Urmia University employees.
Given that the main goal of the present research is to examine the causal pattern of relationships between professional ethics, organizational health, and quality of working life, therefore, to predict the potential relationships between 1 Konmey & Etal the research variables, examining the direct and indirect effects of the aforementioned variables and estimating the goodness-of-fit index, the following conceptual model is designed and examined.
Goodness-of-fit indices for the quality of working life model, professional ethics model, and organizational health model (Refer to page image) In measuring the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha test was used.
