چکیده:
What is referred to in this article is the analysis of the verbal and behavioral biography of the Great Prophet (PBUH) in facing ignorance, with the aim of achieving the Islamic pattern of forbearance from his biography. Forbearance—maintaining calmness and avoiding anger when facing ignorance and lack of knowledge—is a quality that is necessary, and even obligatory, for scholars, especially scholars of Islamic sciences; because the lack of this moral virtue causes the scholar to be ill-tempered with ignorant individuals, which not only prevents their guidance but also displays a harsh and violent appearance of the religion of Islam, and perhaps the ignorant person may become hateful of the teachings of Islam and for a long time does not seek religious learning or devotion. The issue under consideration in the present research is: what pattern of forbearance in facing ignorance exists in the biography of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)? In the present work, to achieve an answer to this issue, after investigating the concepts of forbearance and ignorance from lexical books and traditions, historical data of the prophetic biography on the mentioned subject have been examined, and after analyzing them, a series of conceptual and behavioral propositions have been extracted.
