چکیده:
Today, the use of modern psychological science in the field of Persian literature and in the analysis of the inner worlds of classical and contemporary texts has been able to present new ways for researchers and critics. Accordingly, the overall structure of this article is formed according to the aforementioned approach and pursues two main objectives. First, discovering and identifying the prominent characteristics of healthy (self-actualized) personalities based on the theory of humanists, and second, examining Saib's allegorical approach in expressing these characteristics. To achieve these two goals, the words and poems that the poet has addressed this subject in his Divan of Ghazals, with attention to two important characteristics of the Indian Style—namely verbosity and the discovery of new themes—have been used. In this method, 364 ghazals from the mentioned Divan were selected and examined based on Morgan's table and using simple random sampling from among 6995 ghazals. Accordingly, after stating matters regarding allegory, its function, and its branches, the subject of personality and its concept have been explained, and then the twelve identified characteristics of healthy humans in humanistic theory have been extracted from Saib's Divan, and his allegorical approach in expressing these characteristics will be examined and analyzed.
