A prerequisite for defending the Islamic Revolution and its achievements by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is the continuous promotion of religious insight and the creation of permanent spiritual and material readiness among all members of the Guards. For this reason, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Imam Khamenei (may his shadow endure), on various occasions, including in the appointment decree of his new representative in the Corps, has explicitly stated and emphasized the necessity of paying attention to and strengthening this factor. In this article, an effort has been made, using a descriptive-analytical method and utilizing religious sources and with special attention to the statements of Imam Khamenei (may his shadow endure), to examine and analyze the nature of religious insight and the reason for His Excellency's emphasis on its promotion among the Guards.
