چکیده:
Mowlana Mirza Sohrab Alemi Darabjardi, deceased in 975 AH, is one of the poets of the era of Shah Tahmasp Safavi. The Divan of Ghazals remaining from him is a unique manuscript and is kept under number 290/6 in the National Library of Iran. The written heritage left during the Safavid era is vast. Alemi Darabjardi lived in the 10th century, and the prevailing literary style of that period was the 'Maktab-e Voqu' (School of Occurrence); however, his method of expression in composing ghazals is similar to the style of poets like Saadi. The surviving ghazals of Alemi show his skill and talent in composing ghazals. As can be inferred from the content of the Divan, Alemi was a person of fine taste, and according to biographers, Alemi composed ghazals in an evocative and romantic manner. In this essay, while introducing the poet and his surviving works, we aim to describe the application of rhetorical and aesthetic techniques, radif and rhyme, prosodic meters, and the linguistic and intellectual characteristics of the poet in his ghazals. The Divan of Ghazals by Alemi Darabjardi was transcribed in 979 AH; however, due to the incompleteness at the end of the Divan, the scribe's name is unknown. The correction of the manuscript in question has been performed using the conjectural method due to its uniqueness. The method used in this article is the descriptive-analytical method. Since the literary works of every nation are a complete mirror of its culture and literature and form an important part of the culture and civilization of every nation, the ultimate goal of this research is to introduce the manuscript of Mowlana Mirza Sohrab Alemi Darabjardi, introduce the poet, and address the stylistic and literary features of the manuscript.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Alemi Darabjardi lived in the 10th century, and the literary style prevalent in that period was the School of Occurrence (Maktab-e Voqu); however, his style of expression in composing ghazals bears similarity to the style of his predecessors, especially Saadi.
With a precise look at the contents written in the biographical dictionaries (Tadhkirahs) that have addressed the introduction of Alemi Darabjardi, the poet under discussion, they have considered him a witty and eloquent poet; and since he composed ghazals beautifully, it can be guessed that he was more skilled in ghazal composition than in other poetic forms.
By looking at the School of Occurrence and its linguistic, intellectual, and literary characteristics, and through the studies conducted on Alemi's Divan, it can be said that the prominent and common characteristics of the period are also visible in his poetry; however, he is more influenced by his predecessors.
Although many Tadhkirahs and historical books have briefly introduced Alemi Darabjardi and his work, it is limited only to the name of Alemi and the mention of a few verses from his Divan, and this manuscript has not yet been subject to rereading, investigation, or research.
In this research, the authors aim to explain his literary position in the course of the evolution of Persian literature by introducing the uncorrected version of Alemi Darabjardi's Divan of Ghazals from a content perspective and examining its stylistic characteristics at intellectual, linguistic, and literary levels, in addition to identifying his poetic style through the influence of this poet on other greats of Persian literature and also his influence on the poets after him.
