خلاصه ماشینی:
The authority of Orientalist works has been extensively influential in the production of Arabic historical works related to the early Islamic period, such that on one hand, it has trapped a significant portion of them in certain specific categories, and on the other hand, This article is a translation of an article titled "Tarikh al-Sira wa al-Sadr al-Islam" by Abdul Ghani Imad, a professor at the University of Lebanon.
His book "The Life of Muhammad" is his first Islamic work, in which the life of the Prophet of Islam is examined in a documented manner with an analytical-historical reading of the Prophetic Sira; however, his primary intellectual preoccupation in this book was to reject certain sayings and opinions of Orientalists regarding issues that had bad influences on society.
The important transition phase in the field of Islamic research was marked by Taha Hussein, specifically through his works "Ala Hamish al-Sira," and his two other books "Al-Fitna al-Kubra" and "Mir'at al-Islam.
In the second half of the twentieth century, a secondary transition period occurred through a group of Arab historians who addressed the subject of the history of the Sira and the early Islam in a more objective manner, in a critical format, and based on modern analysis.
An important point regarding the first part is that this book investigates the stage of the emergence and formation of the call and the life of the Prophet of Islam, his surrounding environment, and the expansion and dissemination of his call, using a modern methodology free from the constraints of narrations and the classical method governing Arabic historical writings.
