چکیده:
The main goal of this article is to understand the nature of 'mysticism' as an important part of Iran's intellectual heritage, evaluate its relationship with 'political thought', and explain its capability in establishing normative political thought. Unlike approaches that consider mysticism to contain inconsistencies that prevent its compatibility with political thought, this article uses an interpretive method and evaluates some of the most important mystical texts to show that certain tendencies such as world-renunciation, individualism, esotericism, elitism, and anti-rationalism—which are presented by claimants of the incompatibility of mysticism and politics to prove the incompatibility of political thought with mystical thinking based on certain propositions in the mystical intellectual heritage—have actually been used selectively and are not sufficient to prove this claim; on the contrary, there are indications and signs such as companionship, tolerance, futuwwa, etc., in the mystical tradition that testify to the compatibility between mysticism and civic and political thought, or seriously challenge the 'impossibility' approach.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Unlike approaches that consider mysticism to contain inconsistencies that prevent its compatibility with political thought, in this article, by employing an interpretive method and evaluating some of the most important mystical texts, we have shown that ratios such as worldliness, individualism, inwardness, elitism, and anti-rationalism, which based on some propositions present in the heritage of mystical thought have been presented by claimants of the incompatibility of mysticism and politics to prove the incompatibility of political thought with mystical thought; in fact, they have been used in a selective manner and are not sufficient to prove this claim; on the contrary, indications and signs such as companionship, tolerance, futuwwa, etc.
Some experts, by emphasizing the epistemological components and principles of mysticism, have argued for the impossibility of the relationship between mysticism and politics, negating any possibility of deducing or producing political and civic thought from mystical thought, and essentially considering mysticism and politics to be dependent on two conflicting and incomparable paradigms and intellectual spheres; therefore, in the discussion of the nature of political thought in Iran — as one of the aspects of thought — the assessment of the relationship between "mysticism" and "political thought 1" has been a subject of attention for researchers.
Totally Annihilation It seems that that group of researchers who have considered mysticism to be contrary to the formation of the concept of "individual" in the sense of "the individual in society," have actually organized their discussion based on the foundations and principles of the modern narrative of political thought.
