چکیده:
In this article, by adopting a network approach, the formal and content patterns of the value system of Tehran youth are addressed based on priority relationships. The pattern or structure of the priority value system is actually a map for organizing the world. Therefore, in terms of form, the degree of strength or connectivity of that system is measured; and in terms of content, its affinity with Inglehart's 'traditional/modern' cross-dimensions and Parsons' ' أجل' (Agile) is assessed. The research method is 'cross-sectional'. The measurement tool is a 'questionnaire'. The sample size is 1058 citizens aged 15 to 29 living in Tehran city, who were selected using the 'cluster' sampling method. The results obtained from processing the data of the priority relationship between cross-values indicate the existence of a 'semi-ordered' structure and the dominance of the 'traditional' type in the priority value system of most (seventy-five percent) Tehran youth.

Network Analysis of the Structure of the Priority Value System of Youth (Empirical Case: Youth of Tehran City) Ali Baghaei Sarabi * In this article, by adopting a network approach, the formal and content patterns of the value system of Tehran youth are revealed based on priority relationships.
In this case, the pattern or structure (arrangement) of the priority value system can serve as a map for organizing various types of worlds, including physical (demonstrative), non-physical (normative and relational), and even meta-physical (other-worldly) *Member of the scientific faculty of Islamic Azad University, Roudehen Branch.
The researcher's epistemic benefit in the formal dimension is awareness of the level of cohesion or strength (organic or mechanic); and in the content dimension, awareness of the level of order-making or change-making (traditional or modern) of the priority value systems.
A handful of studies that have been committed to the epistemological weight of the concept of "system" have, without reason, assumed that the [priority] relation between the components of the set of values has only one form, and that form is "hierarchical" or "chain-like," and for this reason, they have been deprived of discovering the real form of the value system of individual and collective actors [such as generations].
In this article, the connectivity of the values of Tehran youth V [via R - the priority relation] is considered: the members of V, the set of values, are perceived as nodes or points, and the members of R are perceived as arcs or directed lines.
