چکیده:
The aim of the present article is to identify the socio-economic factors affecting the sense of peace and social security of female sociology master's students in the city of Tehran in 2009. In this research, using a descriptive-analytical approach, 80 female sociology master's students from Islamic Azad and public universities in Tehran, selected through random sampling, were investigated. The face validity of the research tool was confirmed, and its reliability was established by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, with values of the scales used ranging between 0.698 and 0.899. The results from multivariate regression showed that the variables of social class, family support, adherence to ethnic customs, age, and trust in law enforcement are the five major variables that affect the sense of peace and social security of female sociology master's students. These five variables collectively explain 89.5 percent of the effects on the dependent variable. The sense of peace and social security among female sociology master's students in Tehran is generally 87%, meaning it is at a high level.

6- In general, it can be said that the feeling of social peace and security among female master's students in sociology at Tehran universities is 87%, meaning it is at a high level, and factors such as trust in police performance, trust in law enforcement, age, social class, family support, feminist perspective, and adherence to ethnic customs influence it.
