چکیده:
This article is derived from a research study aimed at identifying the components of time management among students of Islamic Azad University; recognizing and being aware of the aforementioned components helps students use their time optimally. In the present research, the subject was analyzed and explained by proposing hypotheses. The research method is survey-based, and the measurement tool is a standardized time management questionnaire administered to students. The statistical population of the research consists of management students of Islamic Azad University, Region 12. The study sample includes 180 students who were selected using a multi-stage random sampling method proportional to the sample size from three university units. The research findings have been compiled in two parts: descriptive and inferential. In the descriptive part, descriptive statistics indicators were used, and in the inferential part, a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test was employed. The results of the analysis of variance indicate that: 1. There is no significant difference between goal setting, prioritization, and performance evaluation—which are components of time management—in the study sample when categorized by university units, and 2. There is a significant difference between planning and time allocation—which are components of time management—when categorized by the studied university units.

Therefore, to keep pace with transformations, we must achieve our goals by managing every moment of time, perform more important tasks, recognize values, maintain balance, reduce stress, work more precisely instead of working more, bring time under our control, and act with higher efficiency (Mohammadyoun, 1384: 11).
First hypothesis: There is a significant difference among students in terms of goal setting as a dimension of time management, categorized by university.
Considering the theoretical perspectives and the importance of the phenomenon of time, the research objective, which is to identify the components of time management among students of Islamic Azad University, has been achieved.
The results obtained from examining the research hypotheses (4 hypotheses) show that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of the variables goal setting, prioritization, and performance evaluation as components of time management, categorized by the studied university unit.
Furthermore, based on the obtained result, there is a significant difference between the variable of planning and time allocation as a component of time management, categorized by university unit at the level of a=0.
Given the importance of the subject and based on the findings of this research, it is suggested that other studies be conducted to measure the components of time management among students using a larger and controlled sample.
There is no significant difference between goal setting, prioritization, and performance evaluation, which are components of time management, in the study sample when categorized by university units; and 2.
