In general, according to Islamic thinkers, the important characteristics of Islamic politics include: encouraging people to recognize God and His eternal power, acquiring knowledge, refining ethics and purifying the soul, establishing equality and solidarity among individuals, reaching the boundaries of peace and tranquility, and attaining the qualification for the title of God's vicegerent on earth. From this perspective, the treatise Politics can be considered Aristotle's collective ethics, the main axis of which is the education and training of citizens and the formation of moral virtues in the souls of society and virtuous political systems. The category of ethics, in Max Weber's thought, is considered the most important factor of human action in political-social life. Regarding the subject of "power," there are precise approaches in the teachings related to "piety," such as the sequence of heavenly and earthly blessings based on piety, which reminds us of the direct effect of piety on the production and increase of power; the sequence of opening ways out of deadlocks through piety; the effect of piety in constant reminding regarding the right-oriented use of power; the effect of piety in the distribution of economic power and preventing the concentration of wealth; the effect of piety on staying away from oppression and tyranny; adherence to covenants; denial of seeking superiority over others and denial of corruption in society, all show the double importance of the position of "piety" in the ethics of power and politics from the perspective of Islam.
