چکیده:
“Khodaynameh is one of the outstanding works in Persian literature. It is written in Pahlavi language and deals with the mythic- narrative history of the ancient Persia. Unfortunately nothing has survived in the original language. Khodaynameh can be regarded as a literary genre which holds various narratives (dehqani، mobadi and pahlavani) in it. This book in the second century Hijri was translated into Arabic by Abdullah ibn –Muquaffa entitled Syrolmuluk fragments of which remained in some Arabic texts. Recognition and reconstruction of these narratives makes the dream of reaching Syrolmuluk and consequent work Khodaynameh come true to some extent. This essay deals with this approach profiting from Arabic texts particularly Nihayat al-arab fi akhbar al – furs wa-l-Arab which holds a major part of Syrolmuluk in the time span from the reign of Ghoshtasp till the reign of Khosrow Parviz.
خلاصه ماشینی:
Introduction "Khodayenama" is the name of a work in the Pahlavi language (Middle Persian)(1) which can be considered a literary genre 1 consisting of a collection of the mythological and epic history of ancient Iran, from the first king of Iran, Kayumars, to the death of Yazdegerd III (2), and Ferdowsi's Shahnameh is a Persian, versified narration of this literary genre through several intermediaries.
Omidsalar (2011: 43) also suggests that after the compilation of a large, comprehensive, and important Khodayenama during the era of Anushirvan or Yazdegerd, the name "Khodayenama" might have been applied to this book from that time onward, and just as the term "Shahnameh," which was used generally before Ferdowsi, gradually became exclusive to (10) Arabic Historical Texts in Connection with Khodayenama - Tarikh al-Yaqubi - Al-Ma'arif - Uyun al-Akhbar - Akhbar al-Tiwal - Al-Bada' wa al-Tarikh - Tarikh al-Tabari - Tarikh Sunan Muluk al-Ard wa al-Anbiya - Muruj al-Dhahab wa Ma'adin al-Jawhar - Tajarib al-Umam Among the aforementioned sources, Akhbar al-Tiwal by al-Dinawari has the closest connection to Nihayat al-Arab.
Therefore, Nihayat al-Arab can be considered a historical book compiled from three sources, one of which in the section of the history of Iran is the Siyar al-Muluk of Ibn al-Muqaffa.
However, the most important work of Ibn al-Muqaffa regarding Iranian culture is the translation of the book Khodayenama from Pahlavi to Arabic, of which apparently no independent text has remained (Nöldeke, 1388: 13-31; 2537: 37-39; Ghafrani al-Khorasani, 1965: 173-179).
