چکیده:
Late Heidegger's book, written by Julian Young, a professor at Wake Forest University in America, was published in 1394 (2015) with the translation of Mr. Khodapanah by Hekmat Publications. As its title suggests, this book aims to explain and examine the views of late Heidegger. In the book's introduction, the author states that his intention regarding 'late Heidegger' is a Heidegger who has progressed as far as he should in the course of his thinking, rather than implying that he has embarked on a path completely distinct from his early years of thought; indeed, in various parts of the book, reference is made to the continuity of Heidegger's thought throughout his entire intellectual life. An interesting point is that although many people consider Heidegger's later thought difficult and sometimes even incomprehensible, in this book, the intellectual issues of late Heidegger are examined in a very clear, fluent, and expressive manner, presenting a coherent system of the most important issues Heidegger addressed. This matter has made the book not only useful for individuals at the beginning of their journey of acquaintance with Heidegger but also potentially usable for many Heidegger scholars who face ambiguity in understanding late Heidegger's views and the connection between his intellectual topics.
خلاصه ماشینی:
At the end of the first chapter, after explaining the nature of being from Heidegger's perspective, the author addresses the issue of the "forgetting of being" and introduces "metaphysics" as the foundation of the forgetting of being or, in other words, as the "essence of contemporary nihilism" and the ultimate foundation of the catastrophe of modernity in Heidegger's thought.
He provides an interesting interpretation of how the forgetting of being occurs in the metaphysical tradition, and briefly states that the metaphysical interpretation of being is a specific horizon of unconcealment that does not allow for any other horizon of reality, thus preventing access to the depth of being and the understanding of the "granting of being by being"; in other words, metaphysics causes humans to count everything beyond beings as "nothing" And it is for this reason that Heidegger considers metaphysics to be the "essence of nihilism" and the cause of the catastrophe of modernity, and for this very reason, in many of his works, he addresses metaphysics in various ways.
" From what has been stated, it can be understood that this book has a coherent structure that begins with Heidegger's main problem, namely Being and the relation of man to Being, and continues to address the solution that Heidegger provides for the dilemma of the contemporary world, which is the forgetting of Being; in this process, it addresses the pains of contemporary society and the solution for each of them from Heidegger's perspective and with respect to his specific view of Being, and in this same direction, explains some of the fundamental concepts of his thought.
