چکیده:
The system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while maintaining certain macro principles and frameworks throughout its more than three decades of existence, has experienced profound transformations in various fields, of which the field of security has been not only one of them but also a determinant of transformation in many other fields. Accordingly, it is necessary to place the subject of the transformation of the theoretical foundations of security in the Islamic Republic of Iran at the center of attention so that both its nature and dimensions and its impact on other fields are clarified. The author's argument is that the ontological foundations of security in the Islamic Republic of Iran have shifted from West-centrism toward indigenization, but transformations commensurate with this change in the epistemological and methodological domains have not occurred. In fact, the fundamental issue of this writing is to examine the degree of suitability and balance in the ontological, epistemological, and methodological foundations of security in the Islamic Republic of Iran and to understand the causes and reasons for the imbalance in them. In other words, the author's hypothesis is that the transformation of the epistemological and methodological foundations of security in the Islamic Republic of Iran has not been commensurate with the transformation in its ontological foundations. Examining and testing this hypothesis will inevitably lead us to the possibility or impossibility of transformation in these areas, as well as the discovery of its reasons and contexts.
خلاصه ماشینی:
A) The origin of the transformation of theoretical security foundations in the Islamic Republic of Iran Despite the fact that until before the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, the quantitative and qualitative development of security studies was the monopoly of Western countries, and especially the United States (see: Williams and Krause, 2002; et al.
In fact, what exists today as security studies in Iran is, on one hand, a reflection of the reconsideration in Western security studies, especially based on the critical approach, which has taken shape in the country through the translation or even the authorship of various texts, but based on the ontological, epistemological, and methodological foundations of Western security studies; and on the other hand, it is the result of the formation of new foundations inspired by the discourse of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
This importance and necessity of transformation in socio-cultural and epistemological foundations has received much more attention over time than in the early days of the Islamic Revolution and has manifested itself prominently in certain specific fields, including security and strategic studies, which are entirely related to the survival and existence of the new political system.
